Meet Virgil
FOUNDER
After surviving a near-fatal teenage motorcycle accident that crushed his throat and left him sounding like Louis Armstrong meets laryngitis, Virgil found his purpose - to selflessly serve churches and nonprofits with financial expertise.
For over 20 years as an accountant, bookkeeper, consultant and treasurer, he’s helped these mission-driven organizations thrive. Alongside his passion, he’s secured his CPA and Masters in Accounting from Drake University. By focusing specifically on the nonprofit world rather than chasing corporate money, he can deeply understand clients’ needs and act as their trusted advisor.
When he takes breaks from poring over spreadsheets and building community, you’ll find Virgil traveling, reading, attempting to ski, and spending time with his wife Keta and their dog Sparky. Hardship and recovery revealed his calling to empower others’ purposes.
Meet Kevin
BOOKKEEPER
Kevin started his accounting career in 2012 as an associate for receivables which led to his financial expertise in corporate finance. He eventually landed an analyst role in 2016, focusing on COGS and inventory management. He then transitioned to a SOX Auditor role in 2019 for a large scale manufacturing company, until the pandemic hit.
The lockdown eventually made way for Kevin to start a remote work setup in 2021. Now working as a bookkeeper/accountant for Minden Financial Solutions, he is dedicated to establishing trust with stakeholders by providing the best solutions to every challenge the organizations face.
Kevin is also a part of the ministry of their local church where he commits his musical skills in supporting the worship team, as well as in teaching the younger generation how to play instruments. He also enjoys his spare time catching up with people over a cup of coffee.
